I got home with it tonight and went to do a takedown/cleaning. For the life of me I could not get the takedown lever to fully rotate. It would go about 1/4 of the way and stop. I pushed so hard I think I scraped my thumb a bit. Then I put a rag over my thumb and I was able to push ... Then, I calmed down and looked at what was causing the problem. The guide rod and spring had dropped down covering the take down lever hole. So, I got out a 1/16th inch punch and used it on the opposite side of the hole to just raise up the guide rod and spring and was able to insert the take down lever. And Viola. Back together again.ok, once I got over "buy once, cry once" (my reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5), I have fallen in love with this modified takedown lever. I installed it on a Sig p320 RXP Compact. I have large hands, and this 'platform' sticking out to the side is perfect to rest my thumb. No holster modification was necessary for my setup.
