I recommend starting with the LSAT Trainer since it presents a much more user friendly overview and 'brains on' general descriptions of how to approach, think about and analyze LR arguments and RC passages. I'd ignore the LG sections from the Trainer book though, Mike's diagramming system/methods are not very good.

Think it depends on your learning style. If you're a details-focused person and want a formulaic approach to the LSAT, powerscore is for you. If you tend to focus on big-picture approaches and intuition, The Trainer is your best bet.
