My lml broke a crank shaft last Saturday night. Truck is all stock except for lift, tires and steering upgrades. 115k miles. Currently just a little short on cash and time. So I figured my best bet maybe to just pull the engine and replace it with a used complete engine. Or pull the engine slap in a new crank and put it back in.Pull each injector return line one at a time and crank. If there is more then just a small spit coming from an injector, its returning too much. Usually when an injector is bad it will be a steady stream of fuel coming from the top of the injector fuel return. The sensor is in good condition, not bad, and the connectors are in their proper places.so. I broke crank in 2015 lml. Deleted and tuned. Truck still started fine after crank broke and it was driven into the shop to have motor taken out. had mor rebuilt at machine shop. Mechanic shop put everything back together and installed the motor. I get crank no start. Shop spent a few weeks doing who knows what and then gave up.Put the other end into the container and run the engine to fill that line. Then shut it off and remove the IGN 1 relay from beside the starter relay. empty out the container and keep the line full. Crank the engine for 15 seconds fully and measure the amount of fuel that comes out of that line.It is a likely problem. Pop the plastic cover off and clean the connections (unhook batteries first) 2 when you have done that the "positive side" of the battery electrical should be sound. 3 if no smoking gun was found (ie heavy oxidation) look at the negative side cabling.PIP5806A is for an extended crank or no start concern with a P0341 (CMP sensor dtc) set. U don't not need to remove alot.of stuff. Remove the hose coming off the pressure regulator number 2 and plug it off on the return hose side. Put the other end into a container and crank the engine. Really shouldn't be any fuel coming out of it. Check your filter. If there is air in it and you can't prime it with the pump on the housing, you can either rebuild or replace the housing. Loosen the bleeder valve, pump the pump. It's easier if you pull off some of the intake tubing. If you don't ever start pumping fuel the pump/housing is probably sucking air.
