Club members actually fabricated the needed part and got the thresher going, powered by a tractor attached via a long belt. Delchi Fafach of Bemidji practicies blacksmithing, heating the steel to around 2,000 degrees. It was one of the numerous demos at the Lake Itasca Pioneer Farmer Show over the weekend.
