To adjust the carburetor you’ll need to start by loosening the idle speed screw. Then turn the mixture screw clockwise until it’s flush with the fuel bowl. Next turn the governor spring adjustment screw clockwise until it’s flush with the mixture screw. Finally tighten the idle speed screw until it’s snug.
Wait 15 minutes to allow grease and dirt to break down. Wipe away the residue with a clean cloth. Hose the equipment surfaces making sure to stay away from the air filter/intake.
