You'll probably hate 4.11 gears without an overdrive transmission. With your C4, the engine will be screaming at highway speeds so unless you don't want to drive faster than 50 mph, go with a higher ratio. 3.80 is probably still pushing it for a non-OD transmission.Second: Lower gearing will help acceleration off-boost, but higher gearing will build boost faster, for drag on a 7M, I'd go with a 3.73 or 3.91, for Auto-x, 4.30 would be a good place to be IMO. My 3.40 is good off the line, but the 55MPH suggested speed limit here keeps the engine chugging along at ~1600, good for economy with my cam, but not for performance at that RPM. I test drove a rubicon JKU with the 4.10 gears and was expecting to notice a big difference, call me crazy but I ended up feeling like my 2 door was more peppy than the four door with the 4.10 gears.

I had Goodyear 2051 (32.5" tall) and with a 3spd proflite at 2400Lb and 1100 fwhp went 4.7's and barely got to 9,000rpm at the 1/8th mile as it was geared for 1/4 mile where it went 7.2's at 186mph and crossed at 10,300rpm with 5.23:1 gears.
