Gmt 400 ls swap

Looking to ls swap my 94 C3500 NV4500 work truck since the 350 threw a rod. The truck does not have AC so that is one less thing to worry about. So I found a guy a couple hrs away that builds harnesses from scratch for $500. He also does the swaps his self if I was to go that route.

If you are using a 4l80 then use the transmission pigtail harness you have (assumedly a 6.0/4l80 takeout).Honestly, if you are a Facebook user, there's a great OBS LS swap group on there with tons of great info. For headers look at the Schoenfeld LS swap headers (PN# 1302LS1). They fit the best on OBS LS swaps in 2WD. Do NOT use the Speed Engineering headers, they say they work but they don't really on the 2WD, only the 4WD.

If not then L96 + 6Lxx tranny, the L96 and 6l90 will probably take more work to integrate, so it'll be more expensive. The 6l90 (or 80) would just be awesome in a gmt400.
