Forsaken Airfield for newbies. Hello all. Not really a newbie, but it is my first save since the overhaul. I was going to save Forsaken for last of all the maps. But I think I want to do it sooner rather than later. I have good gear and some of my essential skills up to 5. But I'm a bit nervous.I find forsaken airfield as a tricky and hard region, however i think there is something that you are doing wrong. The temperature it's incredible cold and explore the map with high winds can be a headache, but it's just about to wait the best scenario (a clear weather near nightfall).Then find your way through the new hub transition zone to the new Airfield Region. The release video gives a very obvious clue whee to go in Broken railroad, right at the start of the video. Yes, it is has 2 loops but remembering to draw a paper sketch / map made it doable. I used lots of torches as coal was plentiful. Playing on stalker meant that starting fires was also trivial.
