The Ruin is a great gun, but the rez is really what puts it over the top for me. That said, I'm glad they didn't link the only self-rez to a junky gun. At least this is a gun I'd probably use sometimes even without the rez. I still love the beam rifle most, so far. Just works so well with crit, even if it's burst isn't great outside headshot beams.
